Love the game, incredible work. I'd love if there were some online pvp features. I have a few other suggestions. I think the phantom punch ability would be better if there were particle effects that flashed once it was charged, same with the charged shoryuken uppercut. Some dude suggested the idea that the different colors have different abilities/super arts, and I love that idea. Also, you can kinda cheese the level 4 CPU with phantom punch. Not sure if you're still working on this, but great job!

Hello, i'm known as Barjaquin and I come to say sorry for how I acted before. I'm really sorry for the inconvenient I have generated because of my (literally) 11 years old behavior. I have matured since then and now, seeing the consequences of my actions and how you needed to add that warning just by my fault, i'm embarrased of myself. I have removed the reviews of the accounts that I could as a way of asking for forgiveness.
Thank you. I probably should not have let it bother me as much as it did, but it happened right after I just had some free time to work on the game for the first time in 4 months. So seeing stuff like that (it felt worse cause I thought it was many people) made me extremely demotivated to work on the game.
I've worked a bit on the game since the last update and in the developer build I have, I already removed the message, but then I never ended up finishing the update :/ . I guess I should continue with that cause I've seen a lot of people in comments who care about the game with valid criticisms, and I still have some content (not that much) which is unreleased. Let me know if there's something you want to see in the next update, if you're still interested.
Make Abilities and Directional Abilities so the game kinda alters and more combo game. A way to get them maybe fighting AI? Oh yeah add 3 player but P3 is always AI, 2 players vs lvl 4 would look awsom
Your strongest attacks are the phantom fist, and the charged uppercut. You can do the phantom fist by holding the attack button for 1 second, then releasing. you can do the charged uppercut by holding down for a short while, then pressing up and attack quickly.
These 2 attacks take pretty long to start up, so your opponent can attack in the meantime. one of your faster strong attacks is the (regular) uppercut, which you can do by quickly pressing up/jump and attack at the same time.
Very good game, the sprite animations are extremely fluid. I noticed a few bugs with the AI, namely that they can perform charged moves without having to charge at all (phantom fist & charged uppercut). I also have a few requests for gameplay, such as some kind of super move, more items, and the ability to change keybinds. Also uppercut is crazy powerful and it is very hard to get out of an uppercut stunlock. Other than this, it is genuinely an amazing game, and I would definitely pay for a full version.
thank you so much for the comment and for playing! the charged uppercut attack can be charged by holding down, so not just by crouching. you can charge it during another attack, during a roll, while parrying, or while in the air. This is what the lvl 4 CPU does constantly (and frame perfectly), so somethimes it might look like they unleash this attack out of nowhere, but they can't do it if they weren't previously doing something that a human player can't also do. Similar situation with the phantom fist, though I admit that there are quite some bugs with the AI.

I could also just be coping due to my lack of skill. it would be cool if you added a little flash after an attack has been charged fully, which would be really helpful, as I notice my friends and I happen to not charge attacks enough, as well as seeing if an AI is in the process of charging an attack.
Don't worry about it :). Many games have guides that explain these kinds of things, and this game doesn't explain that part, so it's not really a lack of skill for not knowing that. The advanced charging techniques are just in the game for players who love to optimize the mechanics of the combat.

you can play against a CPU if you press the attack key before starting a match. for example, if you want player 2 to be a CPU, press ENTER
